Used by God to change my life
At at time in my life when everything around me was flying apart, I came across this biography. So tired and weary from struggling with problems of my own design, all I could read or absorb was of a biographical nature. When I picked up "Daws" within just a few pages I knew I was reading the a biography rich in "meat", not "milk." I read carefully, prayerfully. Took notes and underlined extensively. The principles of disciplined living that course through this telling of Dawson Trotman's life riveted me, encouraged me and built up in me a wellspring desire to be a Godly man. No book, other than the Bible, has ever impacted my life more than this one. I loaned my original copy with all the underlining and notes several years ago and never got it back. Now I am purchasing a new copy to re-read while the Lord is beginning a rich, new work in my own life.
