God had planted a desire in me to grow in holiness and I wanted to understand more about what it meant to be holy. My mentor suggested we read Growing Your Faith, and God used this book to transform my outlook and my relationship with Him. I was so encouraged as I realized "Nothing [I] ever do will cause [God] to love [me] any more or any less." (p.25) What freedom there is when you understand more fully God's grace! The greatest thing God showed me in this book came from the statement, "The road to holiness is paved with adversity." (p.152) I realized God is using my children and my struggles as a mother to make me into the woman He wants me to be. Truly, reading this book was life changing for me and I recommend it to anyone who wants to grow their faith!
