Roberta Hestenes
Author, educator and speaker, The Rev. Dr. Roberta Hestenes is an ordained Presbyterian minister serving presently as teaching pastor at Community Presbyterian Church in Danville, CA in addition to teaching for Fuller Theological Seminary and lecturing nationally and internationally. She has been significantly involved with World Vision, an international partnership of Christians engaged in relief and development work in the developing world, as a board member, moderator, chair of the International Board, and most recently as Minister-at-Large focused on spiritual formation among WV staff around the world. For 10 years she served as the president of Eastern College, now University, in Pennsylvania. Educated at UCSB, the University of Washington and Fuller Theological Seminary, she is the author or co-author of 7 books, numerous articles and book chapters, has 1 earned and 5 honorary doctorates. She has traveled and lectured in more than 60 countries around the world. Her husband John and Roberta recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary.
