Bo Stern is a mother of four and a wife to Steve. One of her greatest joys is recognizing the greater story in others’ lives and drawing out the glory and faithfulness of God from the trials of life. Long before her husband Steve was diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease), she dove deeply into the battles of Scripture to better understand the heart of God. With a confidence born of this battle, she and her family are still fighting, Bo wants women to understand that God can make them more beautiful than they've ever been because of the hard times they face. A teaching pastor at Westside Church in Bend, Oregon, she is also the author of a six-week Bible study called The Joy Project, currently used by churches, small groups, and the U.S. Army. Her blog, www.bostern.com, also documents her journey through this unexpected season.
