Every now and then, someone comes along who breathes life into another person by his or her presence. Would you like to find such a friend? Would you like to become such a friend? Let’s look at ways we can increase one another’s hunger for God. Tonight my friend Joe, whom I’ve known since the fifth grade, called to confirm our plans for a reunion at our alma mater, the University of Iowa. But even greater excitement zoomed across the phone lines when Joe began to talk about his small group. “Have you heard about Revelations , that upcoming TV show?” he asked. “It seems the show will have a lot of end-times stuff that doesn’t line up with Scripture. I figure that if our group members watch it together and compare it to what the Bible teaches, we’ll have great opportunities to talk with our friends and coworkers about it. Whaddya
