When a Member Miscarries

Small groups are generally characterized by members who care deeply for one another. Nevertheless, a situation can sometimes arise that tests the members' ability to show sympathy appropriately. When our baby miscarried, my husband and I were in just such a situation. We learned there are statements people can make that sting more than console.
