Love is more than a 'good feeling'
As a part of an accreditation process for the private Christian school where I teach, Moreland's book was assigned reading. I found it clear, engaging and intelligent. His comments on the lack of intellectual development in today's church and our reliance on feelings rather than reason are why I am sending it to a relative who has deep questions about his faith. Moreland's approach may be an answer to prayer.

Must Read
I led two different "love your God with your mind" book studies and have found them life changing for some. I would encourage church leaders and pastors to read it!

An Important Book for Christians
I found this book to be an extraordinary resource for Christians; in poarticular, those with friends that want reasons for faith.
Not only is Dr. Moreland's book full of original thinking about how science fails when it attempts to answer questions it is not equipped to answer, it also is an excellent resource for thos who have had little formal training or education in logic and/or critical thinking. The final chapters on church structure and governance are also excellent.
As someone who has had the pleasure of personally speaking with Dr. Moreland on several occasions, I recommend this book wholeheartedly.

Finally
Finally there is someone out there that is willing to fight back against the church and its mentality of thinking. It kills me to see a church full of people who go thru motions only becuase they do not understand why they do them. This is a life changing book!
