Emotional Revelation
This book covers territory rarely mentioned in most of the Christian literature I have read and in the many messages and conferences I have attended over the years. Finally, a difficult topic is presented in Biblical truth yet with sensitivity to wounded readers - truly the "truth in love".
It showed me that God created feelings, feelings that I have often misunderstood, or felt were in conflict with what a "good Christian" should feel.
Anyone who has lived long enough knows that life on earth is no walk in the rose garden. We all experience the pain of sin in one form or another, and I wholeheartedly recommend this book to everyone, Christian or not.
My hope is to do more with this book in my own life and in helping others. I also hope NavPress and/or the authors will extend the reach of this book to the billions of people who need to understand its message.

For those in pursuit of the One who pursues you!!
I am in awe of the work in this book, and the courage of those who wrote it!! If you are wanting to have a different view of how God view's us when we are angry, disstressed, shamed, mocking, even hateful, with a spin on acceptance of the whole person. This is the book for you! You won't be able to put it down, without really seeking the Lord!! I will never be the same because of this book. I recommend this book for those who are looking to deepen their walk with God. And want to get to know the God who created us in HIS image, and how our 'darker' emotions can draw us to Him, if we let them! A five star *****Book!
Thank you Dan and Tremper, for answering the call! I may never see you this side of heaven, but I can't wait till we meet in Our Father's House!
