Seeing Rightly
I am almost finished with my third Guide Book series study, Living What You Believe:Wisdom from the Book of James. Before I started this study, I always experienced such tension reading James. It seemed to me that James was a return to legalism and devoid of grace. Through Boa & Kruidenier's teaching, my eyes have been lifted up and I see that James is full of grace and love for the believer! This study has challenged me each day to really evaluate my life as a follower of Jesus. Even concepts like confession are getting a deeper look in my Christian life as a result of this study. I'm am experience such freedom! Thank you to NavPress for its continued commitment to transformational works!

Living What You Believe hits the heart of discipleship!
The Living What You Believe, Wisdom from the Book of James Guide Book study is the best study tool I have ever used. Practical application, Scripture passages, convenient side references, and solid Bible cross references are so conveniently placed in the format, that true Bible study can't be made any easier. The only challenge left is simply the discipline of sitting down to study, and then making the right choices throughout the day to apply what's been learned. And no author or Bible teacher can do that for you! I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge, convenience, depth, and practicality of this study. I look forward to doing others in the series. I used this book for my own personal devotion, but as a Bible teacher with a heart to make solid disciples, I plan to use this book for group Bible study in the future. If you are looking for one of those studies that you will remember for marked personal growth and come back to again, this could be it. Navpress has done it again.

Hard Learning made Easier
James is a very concentrated and a convicting study and this guide breaks it down into digestable portions so we can get a handle on it.
It has led to great breakthroughs of sharing and community in our small group study and we are going veerry sloowwly.

Excellent study!
This study was used in a small group - couples study, and a women's small group. The material is challenging - the study is constructed to build thru the book of James..we found the historical material a real plus. Since the scriptures & supplemental material is built into the book, many found they could complete the study as the had all their material with them on bsn trips, waiting for kids - can just take the book and everything is avail to complete the study. Discussions from material were excellent. Can recommend this study without reservation.
