Charles Ringma's meditations
This book helped me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. I purchased it because I like the writings of Bonhoeffer. But it is Charles Ringma's mediations that are so powerful and penetrating. They have given my Christianity and spirituality an entirely new dimension of understanding and being. I truly wish I could thank Charles Ringma personally for what his words did for me. When friends ask me how I got through that struggle, I tell them it was Charles Ringma's book that got me through.I am in my 7th year of using this book for daily prayer. May God bless and keep him!

"Seize the Day" is powerful.
This "daily prayer guide" has reached into my soul: a quote from Bonhoeffer sets the tone. Then, Ringma uses the quote as a touchstone for reflections and selects complementary Bible verses to round out a meditation time that can be challenging, confirming and consoling. I copy the Bible verse and read the one-page selection morning and evening. Ringma's life experience resonates true.
