Our Legacy is all it says it should be...
Hannah's book is all that it says it is. It is neither dry or simply factual. It is a book that can be enjoyed by lay people who are interested in the development of Theology. The format of the book covers the specific topics and follows through each topic with the historical background. By the end of the book, one is able to identify the different theologians and connect the different time periods. It is interesting to see how the development of sin and grace, salvation, and the other listed topics grew and developed throughout the ages. I'd recommend this book to anyone who is curious about the beginnings of their faith. It is well thought out and reader friendly; however he does not "dumby" down the information but instead makes the information relavnat and current.
