Note: Sorry about the reposts... this site doesn't allow you to hit the enter key? That's ridiculous! First, this bible is a paraphrase, not a translation. Were it just paraphrased badly, I wouldn't be warning so strongly against it. If you're looking at these reviews and are considering buying this type of bible, then you must know this: It matters whether someone is being honest with you when they present something for you to purchase. This bible is clearly an INTENTIONAL "distortion", not even a paraphrase. For example in the Lord's prayer (Matt 6:9-13), this distortion says: "...Do what's best - as above, so below...". This is an occultic saying and actually is an indication that the writer (Peterson) worships Satan, not Jesus! On every page of this "bible" you will find distortions like this. Please buy a real bible. Do some research on the issues related to various ones. God bless you in your search!

I have used this Bible/Remix Message,to realy open the minds that are incarcerated. They have been opened and recieving God's word like never before.They express if someone had showed them a bible in this kind of text before ,than they could understand ,that God realy loves and cares for them just as they are,and that he understands their regrets,pain,losses, loneliness . I volunteer in cty adult detention centers for6 years.Five years ago I started useing The Remix Message Bible .Thousands have testified that they know now God is real and he knows them and they have true salvation and hope forever. I love this bible in teaching others to be free on the inside .These hurting inmates say they can understand this language of a real God. I also gave this particular one to my children ,all in their 30,s.They love it!God Bless
