Up until her senior year, Amber has been the model of perfection--just like her dad, Pastor Conrad, taught her to be. But when Claire Phillips invites her to more and more parties, Amber's little white lies about her drinking spark a raging wildfire that threatens to overtake her life.
Will she be honest with herself and her friends before things really get out of control?

I really liked this novel. It was very inspiring for me. It really shows how God can move us, and how God is always here for us. All in all, awsome book! :)

Drink All You Want
Me and my friends drink all the time. We are only 15. We get drunk, but that doesn't get us from drinking. So whats the deal people you can't drink? And yes we go to AA meetings but that doesn't stop us.

Hey!
I don't cry very often reading books, but this one brought tears streaming down my cheeks. I can definately see now how much alcohol is bad for you, especially as a teen. I have a cousin who has been drinking for awhile now, and though she is not addicted I cry my eyes out for her, seeing her destory her body like this and thinking about all of the people in our family who she is affecting.

The First
This was teh first in the series that i read and immediately i started to get my friends addicted to reading these very awesome books. They each tough an issue that my friends and i can relate to and even though when i first read this book i wasn't introduced abundantly to alcohol it prepared me for the "big city" life i have now. Everyday someone is talking about getting drunk and partying, i have the courage to tell them that drinking is dumb and my friends respect my view enough to listen to me. I always refer them to this book when my words aren't enough.

Amazing and Powerful
What an amazing book. This book showed so many things that do truly happen all over the world. I mean imagine you were Amber, Claire, or Simi. The events that are happening around you are too amzingly powerful to not go to the Lord. This book broke many hearts that were flooded by tears. But overall I 100% reccomend this book to any girl who doesnt know the Lord no matter what their circumstances may be.
