Bitter Rose by Melody Carlson

Maggie's parents are divorcing and she blames her mom. With the help of her friend Claire, Maggie is on a mission to save her family--at least what's left of it.

Description: Maggie blames her mom for the family's disintegration. "She’s driven him away with her constant nagging and complaining and arguing. Honestly, who could stand to live with that woman?" she vents to her friend Claire.

However, there's more to the story, and Maggie desperately wants to know the truth--something nobody seems willing to tell her.

The eighth book in the
TrueColors teen fiction series, Bitter Rose takes an honest look at divorce, forgiveness, and relationships.

Love them!!

I absolutely love this series! I'm a teacher, so I read a lot of young adult books. I have recommended these books to teenagers that I know because I wish I would have had books like this to read when I was going through the teenage years.

These books are soo good!

These books are my favorite series! I just started & finished this book today, I will not put them down! They are just so good, I love all the stories, & they just relate to you. Maybe not this one will but I don't have a shallow of a doubt that one of the True Color book series will relate to you.

WOWSER!

All the books in the TruColors series are awesome! There are my favorite series of all time. So far anyways! Everyone should read these books, especially if you are having difficulties in one of the areas that Calson talks about. The only suggestive comment I have is: I think it would be really cool if more of the books were connected. Meaning the first three books were all intwined, but then they have started jumping all over with different places.
