It's Like "C.S. Chesterton"
First off, I won't lie: my old man wrote this book so obviously my review of it will be good. But I have to say, I can hardly believe that my dad wrote this incredible little book! I expect such writings from C.S. Lewis or G.K. Chesterton, and it’s not as if I don’t respect the intellectual nimbleness of my own father—but wow! He really pulls the stoppers out in this one. For myself, as a fellow laborer in Christ, this book has provided a swift kick in the seat of the pants. And the stories! Just reading about the zany adventures that our home church in Hawaii is constantly neck-deep in is in itself worth every penny. It reminds me that the Church is supposed to be a place “where good things run wild.” Trust me, you want to read this book and become a divine nuisance.
