Rest for the heart

I first heard Dr. Swenson on the radio program Focus on the Family. At the time my life felt off track, things were not quite right but I did not know what it was. When I heard him speak of having margin or space in our lives and what life was like with it and without it, I then knew what was amiss in my life. Since then I have read Margin several times and refer back to it often, I have also given it to several friends. I have also read his other books Overload syndrome several times and use A minute of Margin as a devotional resource for my family.

Excellent!

I recently purchased this book after reading the older edition. I still haven't had a chance to read the newer one - but am greatly looking forward to it and hoping to write a group curriculum based around it. Swenson has some amazing and simple truths to teach us, and he does so convincingly.
