Best Lay Counseling Book Written

"Kitchen Table Counseling" is the best lay counseling book that I have ever read. Besides being well written, it not only describes different types of emotional experiences a woman can have, but it also gives practical suggestions to resolve an issue/s. It also gives a strong spiritual emphasis by providing appropriate scriptures that relate to the issues. I have given this book to many women that I mentor, and each one has concurred that this is a book that every lay counselor needs to have at her disposal. Since I only mentor and counsel women, I use the gender her.
