To See Beyond the Words

The intent is to read a story a day. Except for a stop for lunch, I read it in one sitting....so moved I was by the author's ability to find the spiritual in everyday child events and words.

Out of the Mouths of Grandbabes

Donna has a way with words. She finds depth in simplicity. She looks for God in the ordinary and reminds others of His extraordinary love, grace and faithfulness. The stories are a joy to read; I can imagine the toy room and reading Green Eggs and Ham with a child. I can also imagine Donna's face as her grandchild brought her the Pentecost candle. She connects everyday details to a God who cares about the details. It's also obvious she herself is connected to her grandchildren. Thank you Donna!

A Gem!

Wow! This little gem extracts the extraordinary out of the ordinary, and will have you by turns laughing out loud or pondering the poignant. A delightful read for anyone who marvels at child-sight—that simple and yet profound way kids have of seeing God's world.

blessings shared

I purchased two copies of Donna's book. One I kept for myself and the other I gifted to my Mom on Mother's Day. What a joy it was to read (and re-read) each story, but the greater joy has come from the new way in which I now listen to my own grandchildren. God truly uses little ones to not only bring joy into our lives, but life lessons as well. A whole new way to look at the world! Delightful!
