Praying and Talking Helped So Much
As a parent of a prodigal, I found myself in a dark, frightening place. I turned to Prayers for Prodigals, to help me get through many tearful days. My focus had been on the terrible things that were happening, and the heartache of slowly losing a precious daughter. Gratefully, I discovered that focusing my thoughts on prayer and Scripture helped to take the focus off my heart-crushing pain and onto the hope that one day things would change. I bought Prayers for Prodigals about 6 years ago and just pulled it off the shelf again recently. As I looked through the pages I was reminded of the painful journey our family took. Not only did Prayers for Prodigals help, but it caused me to look for other resources. After a diligent search, I finally discovered christianhelphotline.com I found I could talk to a personal crisis manager who had first-hand experience herself, as a parent of a prodigal and who was now working to help others. I was delighted to discover that God had prepared others to help. As a woman, I found praying the prayers offered in this book and talking to someone who understood my heart, were wonderful blessings. Gratefully, I can say "thank you" today. Our daughter is now back in our life again! But what I also learned, was that I could say "thank you" even if that were not the case. God can bring beauty from our ashes. How great is that!

I attended a prayer retreat at Leoni Meadows Christian Retreat Center for several years...they always provided the prayer cards. I took several and prayed these powerful intercessory prayers. After much anguish, many prayers, months of interceding God did bring our prodigal son home and into recovery. PRAISE GOD for He answers the prayers of His people and can do more when we ask in behalf of our loved ones. Our son is beginning his new way of living and struggles but we know God answers our cries for help. Thank you for these powerful cards...I keep them close to help me when I need help to pray in God's Word.

I am a Prodigal
The title of this product stopped me dead in my tracks, made me draw in my breath...and celebrate internally! I saw a double sided handout of this product in a church, where I was attending a wedding. I was so grateful for the product, I got several to put up in various rooms of my house as a reminder of my redemption and my joy. It has helped to remind me not to waste my life (to pull from John Piper)due to unnecessary shame for the past - that Christ has already taken upon himself.
