Problems...
I love this bible, the text is amazing! However, upon closer inspection, I noticed there are two Matthews and Marks and Luke and John are nowhere to be found....Kind of a big deal to mess up the gospels....

My two cents....
One Day, as I was talking with THE LORD, i had again asked about a Bible in todays language so everyone who read it would see GOD in HIS WORD and turn to GOD and fix their eyes on HIM, just by getting to read and understand how great and awesome and simple and personalbe our GOD truly is... and He told me about "The Message/ The Remix" I went and bought one for myself and have given gifts to those THE LORD directs me. I have given this 'Message" to people of all ages and backgrounds; thier reaction to THE WORD in plain English is amazement and enthusiasm! Please don't limit this precious text to only the young, we humans of all ages need GOD'S WORD spoken to us in plain English. Thank you! I know I have been blessed and everyone I've given it to has been blessed! Amen!

If the Lord Jesus is love.....
which I whole-heartedly believe He is, then why does Matthew 15:16 seem to negate this? Jesus replies to Peter in Matthew 15:16, "...Are you being willfully stupid?"
Though discipline is good and necessary for us, I don't believe Jesus would EVER discipline in a non-loving way! Jesus says love "does not hurt", etc.....and this seems to go against what Jesus himself told us what love is in the Bible (would he not use another word, other than "stupid"?).
I am concerned others will feel the way I do about this chapter and verse, and I can't get it out of my heart and mind as I read on (I have the 2006 edition of the Message Bible).
