With simple illustrations and practical guidance from the Scriptures, Carole Mayhall helps you place a filter of kindness in your mind and your words.
Description:
The Bible tells us that our mouths are to be fountains of life, but our day-to-day interactions prove otherwise. So how do we address our hearts as well as our words?
This book explores the impact our words can have and helps us develop a filter to hold back things we shouldn't say.

One of the most important books I've ever read
I read this book in college so of course that means I read the original, first print version. All these years later this book still sticks out in mind as one of the most influential books I've ever read. As a young Believer I had never really given thought to the power of my words but the writer gently and efficiently helped me realize the strength and the possible destruction in my choice of words. This book helped me tremendously at learning what to say and when to say it so that it "gave grace to those who heard." I can't find my old copy from college so I'm looking for a new copy. I want to re-read it again and again as I reminder to be careful with what I say, especially to those closest to me.

From the Heart of a woman
At the moment I am reading this specific book, bought from a "garage sale"(missioner school in Portugal...
I have been very blessed and learned so much, my biggest "fights" with myself are my inability memorize and my "needs are so insignificant" through this book I am learning to deal with these situations, and its made me look online for the Navigators.
Thank so very much for existing, for writing for being who you are and being such a blessing in my life..Thank you and God Bless Carole.

Our study group has been using Words That Hurt Words that Heal from the original publication - we were able to find only 2 copies and were disappointed to learn it was out of print as we wanted to recommend it to other groups. It is so good to see is has been reissued. It is a marvelous book.
