Now we have a plan
I just finished Leading from the Sandbox. T. J. Addington presents a leadership framework that would seem to fit in any setting. I particularly appreciated the simplicity of identifying those things that are most important, allowing those aims to shape annual objectives, and using those for regular coaching/progress meetings. A hurdle I have battled for years was overcome with Addington's plan to evaluate progress prior to coaching appointments in order to make that time more beneficial and productive. While I could wish I had this book 30 years ago I'm grateful that I can walk through this with our team and put these ideas to work for a new generation.
