An Action-packed Adventure
Trident’s Flame is an action-packed adventure with an element of endearing romance that is guaranteed to capture the attention of any teen. The author credibly plants teen Jake Sloan in the midst of a grown up drama involving the military, scientific research, and government secrets. Especially powerful is the way in which the author interjects and uses Christian belief and theology to guide and empower Jake as he battles evil forces. One ends the book hoping that there will be a sequel so we can soon follow Jake Sloan on a new adventure!

Just like watching a movie...in words!
As a mother of teenagers I found it refreshing to read a book that inspires, encourages, and represents teens as responsible and thoughtful young adults. I would definitely recommend this book to those who enjoy the action/adventure/romance genres. As the story unfolded I found myself immersed in an adventure that kept me intrigued until the last chapter; so much so that I am eagerly waiting for the next book. Dr. Fox's superb writing enabled me to envision the action sequences in my mind's eye. I often felt as if I were "watching" a movie as I read the book! The story-line is filled with exciting adventure tinged with a hint of romance. Young Jake Sloan's adventurous spirit, fearless perseverance, and exceptional character make him a great role model for today's youth.
