Great Study Tool

In Cynthia Heald’s Becoming a Woman Who Loves, she dissects this mysterious organism called love and leads us into discovering that it’s possible to reproduce this God quality specimen. The book is an 11-week study that can be tackled alone or as part of a group. Each chapter starts with a brief introduction, a scripture and quotation from a Christian writer. I like that Ms Heald does not attempt tell the reader what this “love” is but guides readers into discovering for themselves through Scripture. Only after the reader’s self-discovery does the author share her personal reflections. Chapters conclude by urging the reader to seek God for specific life application. The small size of the book makes it easy to pack in your purse or bag and it contains ample space for writing responses to questions. After completing this study, I walked away with a fresh perspective on love and how it weaves its way into every area of our lives impacting our walk with Christ, relationships, and ministry endeavors. No longer did this Christ-like love seem like an elusive, dangling carrot but as natural by-product birth from intimacy with the Lord. I would definitely recommend this study for anyone looking to learn more about Christ-like love I received this book free from NavPress Publishers as part of their Blogger Review Program. Great Bible Study

This is a great 11 week Bible Study that is good for individual study but can be used in a group just as easily. This study goes into the aspects of the commandments by Jesus to love God and To love others. Some of the weeks address such topics as The Source of Love, Bearing Fruit, Love in Action and Love never fails. Each week tackles that topic and ends with a memory verse to commit to memory which is to be expected as this is from The Navigators.

Becoming A Woman Who Loves

Cynthia Heald has captured the meaning of love in her bible study Becoming A Woman who Loves. This is an eleven chapter bible study that teaches each woman what love is how to apply it in our lives. This bible study could be done in a group or alone. I personally prefer the alone method as it is a very deep meaningful book. Chapters cover topics such as the sources of love, love in action., and love never fails. Each chapter has meaningful words from the author and author reflections along with versus to read and study on. There is also a memory verse for every chapter. With this bible study a woman see how it is to love and what love is not. I would recommend this book to any woman. Becoming a Woman Who Loves

This is a Bible study that can be used for an individual or for a group study. It has 11 chapters which can be used for 11 days or for a group it can be used for 11 weeks. Each chapter has many scriptures to look up, lots of space for your answers, the author has a reflection for each chapter and a Memory Verse. Some of the chapters are The Supremacy of Love, A New Commandment, The Source of Love with many more excellent chapters. This Bible study is very informative, easy to understand, gives you lots to think about. I have learned so much with this study and am so glad I have it. Here are a few things that I have learned that mean a lot to me. It is a precious gift to be loved, wanted and accepted. To love as Jesus loved is to be a servant. God’s love is not only amazing but overwhelming. Here is a quote that has become one of my favorites “You love God as much as the one you love the least. ~John J. Hugo~ That makes you think doesn’t it? I highly recommend this study. It will help you to see how you can be a woman who loves more and deeper. It will let you share your feelings and needs. A great study at a great price.

Becoming a Woman who Loves

Becoming a Woman who Loves by Cynthia Heald is a short, eleven chapter Bible study, that focuses on loving how Jesus loved. Each chapter uses numerous scriptures to show how important love is for a child of God. It gives you questions to think about and time for reflection. I liked that this book didn't just give you the scripture and allow you to read it out of the book, you had to look it up and search through the scriptures yourself. It also gave ample space to write out scriptures and thoughts. I found it would be an excellent resource as a personal study guide or to do in a small group setting. *Disclosure: I was given a complimentary copy of this book by Navpress. I was not required to write a positive review.*
