Dearest Friends,
Please don’t miss these moments!
In the midst of the crazy chaos that is now our lives, I’d like to give you a tiny task: Keep a journal. Take notes from these days.

Your Story Matters

The story you and your family are living right now in the midst of COVID-19 will become increasingly precious and meaningful, even when it gets hard. For the next few weeks, I’ll post tips and hints from my new book, Your Story Matters: Finding, Writing, and Living the Truth of Your Life to help you write Your (Corona Virus) Story—whatever it is. I suspect it will be a story of loss, doubt, fear but also of faithfulness and answered prayers. And perhaps we can share some of it here, so we don’t pilgrim alone? To help us laugh and pray for one another?
Start today by journaling about concrete, specific details. Like–how much T.P. did you stock up on? What food items are NECESSITIES in your house? Start with just listing some of the places and ways you’ve prepared.

Two questions for all of us today:

  1. Where do you live?
  2. What food items can your family NOT live without?? (For my family—-it’s potatoes, peanut butter and ice cream. But not together)
